What is a Modular Marquee?
A Modular Marquee, which is sometimes known as a Clear-span Marquee, is a structure that can sometimes be mistaken for standard Party Tent marquees that have steel framework and are generally much smaller. However, the Modular Marquee has several key differences that set it apart from the more commonplace Party Tent.
They are commercial-grade tents, designed for semi-permanent or heavy-duty use. You may have experienced them when attending a wedding, beer festival, or perhaps an Agricultural Show.
Think of the Modular Marquee’s framework as similar to a pre-fab building, with industrial thickness aluminium legs and framework, with tensioning systems to ensure the structure remains rigid.
Instead of the corrugated steel walling of a pre-fab building, the Modular Marquee uses luxurious 650gsm thick PVC covers. These covers help to deliver an elegant and eye-catching shelter, capable of covering hundreds of people.
Where a smaller Party Tent might be 3m or 4m in width, perfect for a small garden, our Modular Marquees are an imposing 9m in width, with no need for support legs in the middle of the structure, such is the strength of the frame.
As the name suggests, the Marquee is modular, which means it is created using individual module, including the frame, walling, and canopy section. This means that a Modular can be extended for almost limitless lengths.
